Now this is what I'm talking about. Score Friday!
Okay, so it was even a tolerable day at work. The fleet assistance I was supposed to do (aka extra work sprung on me in the middle of my morning) was rescinded before I started freaking about it. Though...I did wind up doing it later, but I got finished really early so I guess it all works out. And Dana made cupcakes that were delicious and had Halloween sprinkles. I drove myself and that was cool, got to leave early, or on time rather. My brother went to Borders and bought Iron Man and we watched it again with my dad and had pancakes and now I'm on here and doing my laundry. Tony Stark...*drool*...sorry, did I do something?
Also I talked to one of my other account managers and flat out asked her if we were ever going to get more people because weirdly enough, with all the lack of employees, we seem to be doing perfectly fine. I think we should all get a raise for doing a lot of work and extra efficiently so! That won't ever happen, but it's a nice theory. It's just very empty and kind of eerie now at the office. Oh, well. Quiet is good. Less competition for the cupcakes. :D
Invented a new secondary character to use later on in possible plot devices. And Oh MY GOD NanoWrimo starts in a week. Flipping heck...I hope I can do it this year. I'd really like to do it three years in a row. It's all a question of time budgetting and not running out of plot and energy, and NOT procrastinating. You know?
