Snow Day.
The University was actually closed today... weird. Just goes to show how much effort Pittsburgh has put into clearing these streets for the past 2 days! I figured if the students in their convenient dorms weren't expected to walk to class, then I sure wasn't going to walk the 2.3 miles down to lab. I also didn't trust the buses since 1) who knows when one would pick me up and 2) if there are all these closings today, then I don't want to ride a death machine! My cells and experiments can survive until tomorrow. At least now we don't have to discuss that stupid neuropharm paper that I hated! Good thing I didn't waste too much of my time on it. I went down the street to Fitness Factory and paid $10 to use one of their treadmills. While really cramped, the place has plenty of machines and friendly staff, plus the price is right. I'll have to remember them for future catastrophes.
