This weekend (I had Columbus Day off, btw) I journeyed 9 total hours across PA/OH to see Robert and that car ride was worth every minute. We didn't do too much besides hang out and watch some movies, but after frying my brain last week I didn't really want to do anything but relax. However, I did manage to lower my disc golf score to a whopping +23, woohoo! I am slowly getting better each time, although I'm still pretty terrible. Robert made me a watercolored monkey which is now hanging above my bed due to clutter around my desk. It's cute. :) He also surprised me with starburst jellybeans- however, he managed to eat about 3/4 of the bag when I wasn't looking, but at least he snuck the remainder into my duffel bag (sans red ones) when I wasn't looking. Those are almost gone now too, yum, sugar. OH and my banana-cream cheesecake was a smashing success!! We each 3 helpings of it the first night and kept going back for more many times that weekend. Yay for not being a total failure at baking/cooking. But I'm already back to my normal level of missing him and alas, 3 more weeks must pass before I visit again. :( Stupid school.
My focus to read these 3 papers (thank you, Foundations, for throwing 2 papers at us on Friday with a "by the way, come up with 2 questions for these by Tuesday" that I must complete this evening) is at a total low. I'm already at a point where I don't care that much... that's probably bad. Maybe it's because after I visit Robert it's like a return to reality- papers and evil professors and hands-off labs and no boyfriend (well, right here anyway. you know what I mean.). Not my idea of fun times.
Gah, I'm such a roller coaster.
