I sit here on my day off in the back of the shop. Listening to people talk about shared places and spaces, connections and passions. Human patterns and dynamics of lives around lives. Slept in an extra two hours this morning, yipee! Hard to believe how an extra couple of hours makes such a difference to you starting connection with reality.
Today has been delightful. in addition to the dreamtime, we bought a car for $400. Her name is K2. She's a 87 volvo station wagon designed for hippie transportation. Now we have unlimited access of extended travel, jic we actually wanted to go camping in hana. Found out one of the possible locations of the wedding/reception is roughly 200 less than we had originally been told. Next is to determine check in/out times and costs.
Wedding plans are progressing swiftly now. Checklist so far includes, celebrant, photography, cakes, his & hers attire, food, beverages, flowers for party. What's left to be accomplished is location, rings, scuba chceklists, dinner reservations, and a possible boat trip. Our initiall location, the one we intentioned to have since the engagement, fell threw. So now we are in process of finding a suitable alternative to hold ceremony/reception.
Our housing situation continues to flourish with a new addition to the down stairs room. Local manager of upscale restaurant, diver and cool dude. Our other roomie is in the process of creating and new product from and reducing/reusing/recycling point of view. Go Evi!
My work is coming along well. Been there a bit over a month and things are tarting to gel with the new staff. A few newcomers will be joining soon and perhaps a departure or two. There is potential for me to eventually create my own position within the store. It requires me to pay attention at how much time/effort is spent by the entire staff doing what one person could be doing full time in addition to a number of other duties.
Me, myself, and I have been a bit distant from each other of late. Just last night I came to the knowing I have been sitting in other places than my heart space and in turn have been speaking in authenticity. Yesterday was the 'it's not fair day!' And once I allowed myself time to feel, things made a lot more sense.
