Brian and I got Flogging Molly tix for Dec 5th at the Roseland in Portland. I'm excited cuz I love this band, so it will be cool to go see them in concert finally.
House settling in is going great, but slow. Oh well, it occupies my time when I would normally be bored, so that is good. I'm also starting to decorate for Halloween, and get out all my cool decorations. I can't wait for the party. Should be lots of fun!
Last weekend we went down to Medford for my youngest niece's baptism. The weather was like summer down there, which I shouldn't have been surprised about. They always get the nice California weather in that area. Then they get snow in the winter, so not too many rainy Oregon days. I sometimes still wish that we had moved down there when Brian interviewed for that job. But since he didn't get it, it never happened. Such is life. The funniest thing that happened all weekend was that my two year old niece refused to stay in her clothes. Yesterday we had a brunch and there were like 30 people there. She stayed in her clothes for about an hour, but then claimed she was hot, so off came her dress over her head. Shortly after that she decided she needed to go potty and proceeded to squat in the yard and pee. I was cracking up, but needless to say her parents weren't very happy. She got in the tub, and went down for a nap shortly after the incident.
