Its that time of year again....
When I start going nuts over all things Halloweeny! I love this holiday and October!!!! There is so much I want to do this month. I want to take my nieces and nephew to the corn maize in Jefferson, and I want to carve pumpkins, and definitely hit up some haunted events. Who wants to go to some haunted houses with me? The Nightmare Factory down here in Salem is really scary. Last year I got chased by a stupid werewolf. I was shrieking and laughing thru the whole thing, and we came around this corner and there was this guy dressed up like a werewolf. Well I closed my eyes, and hid in Brian's jacket, and started screaming and laughing. I refused to open my eyes for quite a ways. Finally I did, and the stupid thing was lurking right behind me! It had followed us almost the whole way thru the haunted house!!! I couldn't believe it! I think the guy in the costume was having alot of fun playing off my reaction. But holy shit, I freaked out when I opened my eyes, and felt something behind me. He was in my personal space, for sure!
Anyways, that's my silly story of that haunted house. So yeah, I would also like to hit up some haunted houses in the Portland area. I know, I know. I'm a little kid when it comes to this holiday. I can't help it though. Its always been so much fun for me! And I like that its fall. I miss summer, of course. Summer is my favorite holiday. But if I have to say goodbye to it, then Halloween is a nice transition for me. Before the weather gets really crappy and dreary.
