Cowlip has this shtick in QAF, where they have characters repeat lines throughout a show or the season, like it's burlesque. In Season 4 Listen Brian repeatedly asks, "Listen, are you listening?" He says it to Emmett (when talking about losing Ted), to Ted (about being an accountant) and to Mikey (about marriage). Does he ever say it to Justin?
