I am officially off my game and behind in my training.
Here are the excuses:
1. It has been fucking hot.
2. I am really stressed out and overworked by a combination of work, school, LSATs and moving.
3. The chafing that became a serious problem two weeks ago has not really gone away. I'm using copious amount of bodyglide, and its healing, but it still hurts like crazy whenever i pass the six mile point.
None of these excuses will get me to 26.2 miles obviously, so I've gotta get my ass in gear, but it ain't easy. Since the twelve mile run two weeks ago the farthest I've gone is eight miles this Saturday. Pathetic, I know. This is a recovery week and my long run is supposed to be 12 miles. I am also moving. Any encouragement or ideas for how to climb out of this whole are appreciated.
