looking for sewing expertise

I need to find someone with the time and expertise to either help me customize some bras or build them entirely . . . my hernia is acting up again, and my shoulders as well. I am not skilled enough to modify bras with enough consistency that I can be confident in cutting into an expensive one -- sometimes I get it right, and sometimes I don't, and if I mess it up too much, well, there's a limit to what I can undo in order to try again. The best one I managed was pretty good (not perfect, but it worked most of the time) until the underwire popped out . . . on the bright side, maybe I can use that in building a completely new one. But I lack the skill to do a proper job of it. And there are times when I *could* work past the pain if it weren't for the fact that getting dressed raises the pain level so much.

Does anyone have recommendations?
