Story: Elementals (My NaNoWriMo 2013 novel).
Summary: Mosaruun finds his vehicle and begins driving back to Iran.
Notes: I was going to have mules pulling the wagon, but I did some research, and apparently Mongolians used horses more often, due to the weight of the loads. So... horses it is!
The battle had been easily won, but finding his vehicle was a whole other story.
Mosaruun spent hours lost in the Mongolian wilderness until he arrived at a familiar campsite - now devoid of a yurt- at sunrise. He jumped off of the wagon and sent the horses back in the direction they had just come from.
The redhead wandered a bit longer until he finally found his vehicle hidden by moss, just as he had left it. He uncovered it, then started the engine. He cranked his music as he prepared his drive back to Iran.
Ah, the simple things.
