She tastes of liquor, and he must as well, but neither can get enough of the other’s kiss and their mouths meet eagerly again and again. In the inebriated haze that led them stumbling into her bed, Rune can’t even say with any certainty that he’s not dreaming. Though it’s not a dream he’s had in a long time.
She’s coiled tight around him, clinging with arms and legs to his back, and he’s holding her with equal desperation. Even in his drunken stupor he knows it’s not right, but just now nothing feels better than indulging in being wrong.
