Notes: Hi! Remember me? Sorry for falling away for awhile, but school happened and a few fandom projects I'm on break now! Hope to start posting here a little more. Hope everyone had a great holiday! This was inspired by the Olympics and Kia got in for gymnastics. Enjoy!
Kia grumbled as she jumped off the bars. She walked over to the chairs and grabbed a towel to wipe her hands. She nicked a bottle of water and tore the plastic off with her teeth. She had to do better. Years of training, crying, and trips to the hospital for various injuries led her to the Olympics. She was finally at the games something she dreamed about since her first time on a trampoline.
Kia didn’t count on the pressure that bloomed from seeing the other athletes or watching her performance on tape. She did good at the qualifying rounds, but she had to be better for the finals. She couldn’t afford to mess up.
“Kia, honey, slow down. We can take a break if you want.” Colette, her aunt that doubled as her coach, said.
Kia nodded and finished her bottle of water. “I will after I go through my routine one more time.” She redid her hair and walked back over to the bars.
Kia was going to get her routine down. Her performance was going to be perfect or close to it by time she left the gym tonight.
