I joined this community in December under a different name (magelet10 ,which is my journal-journal. This is my writing journal.), and posted maybe once. I'm starting entirely over again. Seriously. Forget that ever existed. (is there a rule against that? I hope not.)
So I am Alana, but I'm going to go by Chocolate here, since my username everwhere else is ChocolateFridays. Someone took it here... hmm... I found out about this community from WriYe. That chatroom has eaten my free time, seriously. My writing time, too...
My story is called Freeze. It was first my '07 Nano, but was started over, some much better, as my '08 Nano. It's still not done, and I didn't even win Nanowrimo, but I'm loving my plot. My plan is to use RATs to work on my characters. Freeze focuses on two high school juniors, Addie and Caleb, who are desperate for college money.They also have the power to freeze time. At first, they are quite good about it... then they discover how easy it is to just walk in to a store and empty a register. Or into a department store and empty a rack of clothes.
For picking flavors, my plan is to start at the top- Vanilla- and also have one flavor from the bottom, one of the special categories. I plan to do Persimmon soon, but I'll try something easier first... maybe Sea Salt. I'm not sure yet.
Well, that was really long and rambly... I should write something productive now, shouldn't I...
