Summary: Albert thinks about the meaning behind his wedding band.

Albert smiled fondly at the gold band around his finger. He didn’t know how a simple band held such a big meaning. A simple sign that showed Christophe Winchester picked him to share their lives together. There was going to be a house, kids, and maybe a few animals. Everything Albert figured he wouldn’t have because of his fears and phobias was in front of him. He checked the ring to make sure it was real and not a joke by his subconscious.
Albert grinned when Chris’s arms wrapped around his waist.
“Hey babe, what’s up?” Chris smiled and kissed his cheek.
“Oh, you know, just thinking.” Albert grinned. He turned around in Chris’s arms and placed his hands on his chest.
“Hmm, thinking eh? About what?”
“Us.”
“I like how that sounds. Oh, before you tell me more, I want to let you know the renovations for your office are almost finished.”
“Great, but what did you change it? It looked good when I saw it.”
“I opened it up to provide more light and space. I know you don’t like tight spaces and I didn’t want you to feel trapped in your office.”
Albert took in the news as his eyes widened. “Really?”
“Yep. I’ll have to look at it again, but--ompf…mmm.” Chris moaned as Albert kissed away the rest of his words.
Albert knew the office was a bit small, but he thought he had to get used to it. It’s something he’s done many time before at work and school. He didn’t think Chris would change the office for him. Chris’s adaption to his phobias continued to surprise him.
Albert pulled Chris closer and slid his arms around Chris’s neck. Chris wrapped his arms around Albert’s waist and pressed him against his chest. Albert moaned and slid a hand into Chris’s hair. Chris groaned and slid a hand up Albert’s shirt. Albert broke the kiss and placed kisses along Chris’s jaw.
“I love you so much. You know that.” He whispered in between kisses.
“I love you too.” Chris turned his head and met a few of Albert’s kisses.
Albert smiled and tugged Chris’s shirt. “Want to put that handy teleportation spell to use?”
Chris grinned and nuzzled his neck. “Sounds like a plan.”
Albert chuckled as Chris teleported them to their bedroom.
He didn’t know how he became so lucky, but he didn’t regret any minute of it.
