During the briefing, West starts crying. They are alone in the room and Max isn’t sure as to what to do. Usually, she waits till he’s out of the room.

He reaches out tentatively and wraps an arm around her.

“Hey, West … Kennedy, I promise I’ll get you out of here. I’ll get you back home.”

She looks up at him. “Oh yeah? And when they tell you to cart some other fugitive around and I get  assigned someone else?”

“I’ll stay with you till the end,” he promises, pressing her closer to him. “I’ll see you through this.”

“Hey, it’s not all that bad,” Vincent says running his hand up and down Steph’s back.

“I shouldn’t want to keep it secret.” Her face is buried in her hands and it’s hard to make out the muffled words.

“I know but if you come out, I won’t just be a loser nobody wants to be friends with but a loser nobody wants to be friends with and who turned you into a lesbian.”

Steph laughs and looks up. “I guess I’ll stay in the closet a little longer,” she sighed. “For you. Not because I’m afraid to come out.”

“Of course.”

Pointing a gun is not the best way to go about this.

Shania knows it but she has to stop the travesty going on here before more people get hurt. She cares for Face -- a lot -- but she can’t let him go on like this, destroying everything in his path.

She looks over to Hobbie. She knows he would have done this either way, if she agreed to it or not, but he had looked relieved when she had decided to go along with it.

She hates doing this but only without Face there’s hope for the future.

He’s sick of it.

Of having to talk Kendra out of every crisis she has, out of every stupid idea she hasn’t thought through at all. This time around, she’s being more brash than usual and Jamie chooses to ignore it.

He slowly starts to pack his things, calls Steve. He doesn’t tell his brother why it is he needs to get away because mentioning Kendra Norwin won’t exactly help the tentative relationship the brothers have.

He’s just too sick of putting any hope into someone as self-destructive. He knows it’ll break him if he stays with her any longer.
