Summary: Frank leaves Rebecca.
Notes: So this... surprised me. And not in a good way. Explains a lot about Danny though.
It's time to admit it. He's failed.
He turns over the wreckage in his mind, driving out of town. The conclusion: it ended in that vicious argument, the blame falling, inevitably, all on him.
It wasn't his fault, though. That was the hysterical assertion of an overemotional woman, hardened into certainty with the passing of time. Everything followed from there.
One mistake does not invalidate the experiment, he thinks. When he marries again, he will be certain the bride is not so hysterical, not so emotional, and they will both know what's expected of them.
Next time, he won't fail.
