Of COURSE Ellen would be one of the few people in the world to really SEE Grayson all the time. (The others being his parents and Peter, who would have totally known about the adoption, had I named him when I wrote that piece :P) Plus, I adore that this is long before she moves in, let alone them figuring things out :D Best relationship EVER!

Also, I love getting a look at this situation from Ellen's eyes and not one of three - who I adore, but totally would not have reacted the way they should have in this situation *pokes them all*

RIGHT? I really love them just in general. Plus, Ellen has the advantage of not having grown up with Grayson and therefore not always taking him at surface value the way the others do, so that's one point in her favor.

The other three, well. *eyes them* They just don't get it sometimes.

Ahahaha, it was so nice seeng Ellen totally zinging them. Grayson trying to be all light-hearted about their responses and jokes is such a great indication of his character, too.

Ellen enjoys nailing her brother and his friends to the wall occasionally. I'm going to defer to Casey on this one (since she writes him) but my impression is that Grayson would react that way since it's what they expect. And he's not that comfortable being serious. Thank you! :D

Ellen is pretty awesome with these things. The other three grew up with Grayson and have known him longer, but they're used to the silly side (since that's mostly what he displays) and don't really understand some of the more hidden things about him the way his family, Peter, and Ellen do. :D Thank you!
