Ooh, very neat concept. Love how ambiguous these are and I'm having fun thinking about how they apply to the story :)

I really like the last two especially. I can totally see how the "The seed of the hand..." one could be interpreted different ways now (though the obvious one does seem end-of-the-world bad). Which is very cool, love how you did that!

Thank you very much! :)

I've never really dealt with the actual prophecies before and mostly danced around them and played with the interpretations. I thought it would be fun to put some words to them, and to deal with the cycles that have come before. I'm sure there are plenty of others concerning Sham specifically, (I might have to figure a few out...) but I decided to broaden the scope a bit - and keep it open to further interpretation. It was fun :)

Hmm, interesting, all of them.

I quite liked the one attributed to Aurelius that starts with, "Where you find Death, so you shall find me." Though kind of vague, it still formed a scene in my mind.

Thank you :)

I think that's one of the few parts of the history I have a good feel for. Aurelius and his followers showed up in the wake of a plague and laid the groundwork for the necromancers. In modern times there is a bit of a misconception that he was somehow connected to the spread of the disease.

That... was fantastic. I love the format you used for this. My two favourite verses (quotes? I'm not sure what to call them exactly) would be the one that begins with "Death, Herself..." and "Where you find Death...". Nicely done!

This was a really neat format, I think it worked out well. And it's good to finally see some bits of these much-alluded to prophecies! ^^ I agree, it's fun to try to jigsaw them together and put them in place...though now I just want to see more of "the repurcussions of what if"...

thank you! I'm glad it worked :)

well... Sethan and Reida are all about the 'what if', Reida especially ;)

The time though (and goodness, don't get me going off to write history now...) was prophetic of the kids that accidentally started an epidemic, just cause they wanted to see what they could do. Oopsie.

Ohh, this is awesome. I spent way too much time thinking about how they could fit into your story, trying to figure out which characters or story concepts they apply too. I couldn't stop thinking about Kairn and Lyssa discussing contradictory prophecies in one story as I was always curious about that one.

Thank you! :)

Most of the references are to history and have some amount of underyng meaning to go with the present. The only ones that directly concern current characters are the last two. (and there are plenty more about Sham, but I thought I'd just stick to one here)
