I Did It!
Wow - it appears it has been quite awhile! I think for the most part, I just really haven't had much time to write on here. Not like I've had no time, that would be a lie, but it's hard to force myself to sit down and write something sometimes because I think I'm quite lazy most of the time.
Anyways, I have some really good news that I would like to share,
At the end of January, I applied for a reseach award, and I found out yesterday that I got it!
In a nutshell, I'll be getting some money from a federal granting research agency, and some from my lab supervisor, to stay in Montréal until August and complete a research project.
This is huge for me in terms of receieving an award, and now having an income after about 3 years of not working, and also because this definitely increases my chances for Grad school!
So just thought I would share the good news - I'm definitely excited!
