My car has just had its' full service and mot which has cost me £152.75. Plus I'll be forking out more next week because the exhaust mounts need replacing. At least I now know what is making that horrible noise in the back of the car. At first it sounded like the jack was rattling against the spare tyre in the boot. But no that's far too simple. So much for saving for a deposit on a home. I try and put away £50 to start with at the beginning of the month and then whatever I can spare at the end of the month.
I don't believe in renting property either because you just throuw away £500 - 600 on a landlord who is only interested in making money. Especially when it costs the same to pay a landlord as it is paying a mortgage.
Still there's not a lot of choice for 1st time buyers especailly if you earn comedy money like me.
My throat is still sore and I feel groggy. It's mad how a bad throat can make you feel terrible.
I can't wait to go to Paris with Darren soon. Only 4 weeks to go yay!!!! I bet it will throw it down with rain but I'd rather be in Paris than work or Manchester at the moment. We haven't decided yet on what excatly we want to do and see yet but Darren found some useful info on t'internet about where to go.
I was watching a bit of the Tory conference yesterday and their party is just a joke. Everything from the change of their logo to Cameron's stupid ideas and his face. All Tories have this little sneaky smile and some of them have the shifty eyes too. Anyway I just hope that I'll never see them again in power in my living life. They're just so illogical and out of touch. Most of them still crave the days of Margaret Thatcher.
