Hairball Confessional

Sep 29, 2006 10:58

"I was told by a priest, once, that God hates people like me. He sure makes it seem that way, nyan. Every time I make a wish, it twists...Every time I find something good, it breaks. Is it God? Is it luck? ...Is it me? Did I do something wrong, mya?" The woman in trenchcoat glanced at the window of the confessional, hoping that maybe, just maybe, ( Read more... )

Jun closes the door to the church behind him, a smile on his face as he approaches the young priest. A surge of dark aura surrounds him, but sadly, humans aren't generally built to pick up that sort of thing.

"..That was a close call, ne?" Jun inquires, casting a worried look to the door.

"Ah, my child. Forgive the display that was forced upon you. This place is safe now." The priest gives one one last glare to the door before shaking his head. Demons, in here of all places.

"You turned away a soul seeking guidance." Jun points out. Demon or human..it matters not to him. Pale fingers toy with the petals of a yellow iris in his shirt pocket. He offers an unnerving smile to the holy man.

"Such filth has no place here!" The priest exclaims, and then finds himself with a bit of a sigh. "No, this is no place for a hellspawn."

"What of God? Does he have a place here?" Something isn't right. Jun's smile widens.

"..Of..of course He does."

"...I'm glad to see you welcoming Father then.." Jun laughs and his voice is joined by another as an unseen third joins the priest in the church. "Prepare yourself, misguided human." Jun whispers.

A flurry of white and a yellow iris is the last thing the priest ever sees.

A few minutes later Jun wanders into the alley, spattered in blood but smiling all the while.

"Do not cry, my friend." Jun says softly, smiling still. "He cannot torment you anymore."

"N...nyaa...? Joker-sama..." Nekomata brightened at the arrival of her savior, her hero...but only slightly. Jun Kuroda was gone, and he was her friend.

It's bittersweet for her.

"...Thank you, Joker-sama..." Though her tears only slowed slightly, she crawled over to the newly-arrived hellion and bowed before him, still on her knees. It's only proper.

Jun smiles slightly, and pats Nekomata on the head the way a master does their pet.

"It's not a trouble, Nekomata..Don't worry yourself over some foolish human. So many of them are enemies, it's almost not worth talking to any of them at all..."

He holds out a hand to her and that smile never leaves his face.

"Get up now. Let's cheer you up, if we can." There had to be more misguided fools inside perhaps. If not, Sumaru was a big city. They would find someway to amuse themselves.

Maybe...he's really not that different. This thought was all she needed to cheer up quite a bit, and she happily took his hand in hers.

"You always know how to, Joker-sama..." Of course, now that the respect part was over, she was free to hug him and nuzzle, aww. Purring, natch.

Jun lets her snuggle onto him, but doesn't really hug back, save for a her head scratches. He's too busy looking around the streets. Trying to think of some small bit of chaos to unleash, some small way to corrupt his minion back a farther into Chaos.

"..Foolish humans, trying to impose a God's will upon the rest of the world as though they know anything.." Jun chuckles and reaches for an iris.

"Let's teach these ignorant fools a few lessons, shall we?"

"Of course, Joker-sama! Teach him and his stupid fake hatey-God..." She hissed in the general direction of the church and broke away, bursting inside and raising, well, hell.

Joker emerges from the alley clad in his white suit. He stands in the doorway watching over his feline companion with that same grin.

The more she grew to hate them the better. When all humans could be enemies again...when the Persona users became enemies again...when Suou he could have her attack...Then he would have his minion.

Until then, Jun would move her along such a route slowly.

"That's a good kitty.." He whispers from where he's standing, watching all of the carnage with no more than a luagh.

It's really a terrible sight for anyone aside from those two. Nekomata's claws are sharp, and very efficient at tearing open soft, fleshy humans. Why, there were those that even assisted in her slaughter of the churchgoers, thanks to the magical appeal all Nekomata can have when they so choose.

Of course, as soon as she saw fit, she would spill their blood just as quickly as anyone else's.

It was something she hadn't felt in a long time, and something she thought she had put behind her when she became a rumormonger - the hunger. The terrible, primal urge to rend, slaughter, and devour her enemies.

When all of the innocent men, women, and children were dead, Nekomata found herself drawn to the carcasses, and she began to feed rather sloppily on carrion.

Beats Meow Mix, though.

The few that manage to get past the cat demon are soon met by the White JOker himself. No survivors are left once the screaming is over.

Jun watches her, a smile on his face at the look in her eyes. She was still a demon. Jun knew she could be swayed.

He approaches her, tossing the body of a child down.

"Here. A bit light, but tasty, I'm sure."

A happy mewl and a pounce, and that child? That child is now meat. Well, I guess it was already meat, but now it's meat being consumed rather quickly. Damn, demons sure can eat a lot.

"Thmff mm-" Nekomata swallowed. "Thank you, Joker-sama!"

This was cheering her up, alright. She felt almost...giddy.

Joker simply shakes his head and takes a look about the place.

They will send men soon. Let them find no trace of you. Demons. We do not want the enemy upon us prematurely.. Joker brings a hand to his head a moment, blanking out, and then nods before looking down to her.

"We need to go now...But we will play again sometime quite soon, yes?"

"Yes, Joker-sama~! Playing with you is the best!" Another hug, albeit a somewhat bloodier one, and more purring.

This time, Jun hugs her back a little bit, and more headpats are given. She really had done a good job.

"I am glad you feel better." He replies softly, leading them out a side door and back into the alleys of Sumaru before the police or the like showed up.

"It is not wrong to give lessons to the fools inhabiting this place. Just don't get caught."
