I often like to lean over a cliff but never to jump. To jump is too great a risk, even when I can see the soft creek rustling below. To lean and look is good enough and more rewarding than most things. Of course behind on the safe side of the cliff is all the things you would rather not consider. She created the rainbow to distract us so we don't think about the fact that we're drowning in the part of the flood that hasn't evaporated yet.
