I often like to lean over a cliff but never to jump. To jump is too great a risk, even when I can see the soft creek rustling below. To lean and look is good enough and more rewarding than most things. Of course behind on the safe side of the cliff is all the things you would rather not consider. A car, a parking lot, a steel building in the hot sun. Best to keep your eyes on the swimming creek. Man needs woman, but a woman is something different. Best to keep your eyes on the circling hawk.
