Day 10 Update
Ryan has put on yet more weight and is now 8lb 1oz. The midwife who came today said he must nearly be back to his birth weight now and then looked at the chart and said "Oh..." They are trying to blame the scales at the hospital for being wrong but I think he was just waiting to be born to have a growth spurt as I am quite small. Either that or my milk has super powers! He has put on 1lb 6oz and he is only 9 days old.
Feeding is getting better slowly, we still have to resort to lying down at certain times but I've found if I catch him before he gets too hungry it's easier and sitting in the glider chair helps too as the movement calms him down. In fact last night I got 6 hours uninterrupted sleep because he helped himself which was amusing!
James has gone back to work today but I'm feeling fine about it, he was out working so much anyway it hardly felt like he had time off. This is probably the reason I've been weed on about 7 times whereas he hasn't been weed on at all yet. My laptop also got hit but it seems to be fine apart from my Ctrl key now doesn't work unless you press really hard.
