Hell yeah!
Today turned out to be rather interesting.
So today I had a second interview with a company in Belltown. The first one was mostly an HR interview and finding out about my design and project experience, so I was expecting the one today to be more technically oriented. It wasn't... it was a 'We are going to offer you a job so meet the rest of the team' interview. That was pretty cool. The job is nice, but not exactly what I really want to do.
Jump to 20 minutes after I left their office and make a call to my Amazon recruiter. I hadn't heard back from them yet and she couldn't give me any new information. She then calls her boss who kicks things into high gear and two hours later I get a phone call from him saying that they want to extend an offer to me. WOOT!!
I think we can all guess which offer I'm going to take, ne? So my first day is going to be a week from Monday.
*bounces happily* I will soon be employed again!
