The biggest diff between the academe and the game dev industry:

In game dev, people don't care about your age and I kinda like the guessing game (because it's always in my favor). But in the academe, hala, sige, pagkalandakan ko na age ko and all. Hmm...national artists are given stipends and grants to make way for more projects...does this mean we'll have more massacre movies? And government funded ones, to boot! Why am i paying taxes again?

I just wanted to know because it hurts to see my pay slip and know that the tax deducted from it will go to Carlo J. Caparas...

I invited Ate Cris, Lei and Kwini to join me for climbing, but they only wanted to watch. I saw that Ate Cris looked stressed out and even though I was supposedly done for the day, I made her climb. I told her that I'd accompany her on the other half of the easiest wall.  She said she only had P15, but I offered to pay for her climb so she wouldn't ( Read more... )

Climbing
Again today. Last week was an improvement. I managed to do four laps (4 up & 4 down), rested, then five laps (5 up & 5 down). I warmed up on a slightly difficult wall (1 up & 0.5 down) and I ended my session on that wall, too (1 up & 1 down). So that's a total of 10.5 climbs, with rest periods in between. Hahahaha! Barbs will kill me.
