Completely Mortified
My siblings always poke fun about my penchant for spacing out at the most inopportune time. And it's most predominant today. After reluctantly waking up, we decided to go to Rockwell to cool off and have some snacks. Then we went to Data Blitz. I suddenly felt cold so I went to the nearest brown-green shirted body (nychuus was wearing a brown-greenish shirt) and snuggled up. I noticed in my peripheral vision that his head turned in bewilderment, and when I looked down I saw...tanned arms.

Grabe, so mortified talaga! I moved between the brothers, finally hugging the right one and laughing. I was sweating profusely and my face heated up in absolute embarrassment. The three of us managed to laugh it off, but it was really...Gaaaaaaaaaah! It was an "Earth, this is the first time you'll hear me say this but could you please swallow me now?" moment. Rocco said that I should look before snuggling next time; Nicco was undeniably amused. The ladies at the counter, however, seemed to enjoy what was happening because they didn't bother to hide their laughter. XD
Nicco thought it was cute. @_@
I do remember a time that I made a similar mistake. I was holding my then bf Ichi's hand while we were wading through a heavy crowd. At the end of everything, I looked back and saw that the hand I was holding onto the entire time was not Ichi's but was in fact his best friend RJ's! Ichi was actually half-furious and half-amused. XD Months/Years later, Ichi almost made the same mistake of surprise-cuddling my sister because he couldn't tell us apart. (jov and I used to have the same curly hair.)

Met a new acquaintance today. At first glance, she doesn't seem to be the typical social butterfly that I'm used to seeing in the area. The longer you stay with her, though, the more you see her strengths. Very classy. Oozing with self-confidence while maintaining a down-to-earth aura. Yeah, it's an oxymoron and I was surprised to see someone who could actually pull it off. Prolly the only person in that house who made me want to change my entire professional wardrobe. And maybe my casual clothes, too.

Linguini noodles from scratch, with Italian bacon (forgot the name of the bacon). Yeah, Tita Gina is right. I'm never going back to restaurant carbonara after eating hers. When I saw my plate being filled with the noodles, I thought it may just be too much. I didn't expect it to be actually light!
Ah. Tummy satisfied again today.
