Summary: Yamada has been acting weirdly towards Chinen lately, and Chinen is borthered. More unexplainable things start to happen when Chinen moves into Yamada's room, and Ryutaro moves into Yuto's room. Complications start to arise when each one start to realize their true feelings, and are faced with rivals to fight for their love.
Notes: I just realized I suck at writing summaries.. DX haha!! sorry about that. This is my first multi-chapter fanfic, so I'm sorry if it's bad, and if it doesn't suit your likings. Again, I'm not so confident about this, because I think I wrote it making the story too slow. I'm sorry! I tried the best I can! Hope you still enjoy reading, though!! >~<

Chapter Three: Tell Me
Part One: She Loves Me
"..Yamada?" Yabu heard footsteps decending the stairs, and when he looked, he saw Yamada's sleepy face, along with a very long yawn. Of course he'd be yawning, it's five thirty in the morning! "Why are you up so early? Everyone normally wakes up at seven for school, and you're the one who always gets up last!" Yabu was surprised, and didn't realize he was almost yelling.
"..Huh?.. Oh." It was obvious that Yamada had no choice but to wake up at this time, and that he was still very tired. "Me and Chinen are recording our new song.. and we need to get to the studio before half six.." he said sleepily, and slowly walked over to the kitchen table where Yabu was. He sat on the chair before he looked at the quite energetic guy infront of him. "How about you? Why are you up, and why do you seem so full of energy?"
A wide smile spread across Yabu's face, "I'm rehearsing early for She Loves Me !!. Hehehe." He looked really happy about this, and was in his own world for a moment until Yamada's words repeated in his mind. "WHAT?! You're recording a song before school?!" His eyes quickly fixed on the younger one, who was quietly eating his cereal.
"Yeah." Yamada kept his pace in eating, while the person infront of him started to yell again.
"But.. recording a song, then going straight to school.. and considering what happened last night aswell (you know, the incident with Chii).. wouldn't you both be exhausted even before you go to school?!" Yabu couldn't help but to worry for them, like always. But Yamada was used to him being like this, so he ignored Yabu, and carried on eating.
After a minute of him staring at Yamada, and hearing the munching noises he made when he took mouthfuls of his food, Yabu understood that he wasn't going to get a reply. "..Where's Chii then? Isn't he coming down to eat before you go?"
Yamada stopped, and sat still. That weird feeling came back again, as he remembered Chinen's sleeping face ..I couldn't wake him up..
He shook his head slighty before he could think any further. "He, uhh. He's still sleeping." Yamada managed to say, not noticing his face go a light red.
Before Yabu could question the unusual expression on his friend's face, his heart's owner appeared at the scene.
"Ya-chan!~~" Kei slowly ran to him, wrapping his arms 'round Yabu's neck, as his cheek lay comfortably on the soft, broad back.
"Kei?" Yabu caught his lovers hands over his shoulder, as his heart skipped a beat.
"Hehe. I finally found you.." The breathing could be faintly felt as the reply came with a sweet and tender tone, making both guys smile shyly.
"Uhh, I need to get ready." The two seemed to have forgotten that they were being witnessed by another person, so Yamada stood up and walked towards the stairs. I need to go before this lovey-dovey atmosphere spreads across the room.. He looked back down at the two when he reached a safe distance, "Have fun with She Loves Me, Yabu~" a smile was visible as he turned back 'round, and headed upwards.
Yabu let go of Kei's one hand and waved at Yamada, "Yeah! Arigatou, Yama-chan!!~" he grinned.
"..She Loves Me..?" The younger one slowly broke apart from Yabu's body, and the curiosity showed on his face. "You're rehearsing.. now? ..At this time? ..Will it take the whole day..?" Kei's happiness disappeared as he realized the day would be a lonely one again.
Yabu looked at him, his grin replace by a worried face. "Kei-chan.. gomen ne?.." he hugged the one infront of him, burrying his face in Kei's shoulder, as a tear escape from the corner of his eye. I feel bad about leaving you everytime.. "I'm finally acting in a theatre play.. but, afterall, if I can't see you and be with you.. I might not take part anymore.." I miss you too much..
Kei realized that he was being selfish for not wanting Yabu to go. He knew how much Yabu was looking forward to acting in a play for the first time, so he stopped feeling sad, and tried to say this out loud.
"Ya-chan! Don't cry!" Kei lifted his loved one's head, and gently wiped the tears down his face. He looked into Yabu's watery eyes, trying to convey his feelings through their gaze.
After a moment of looking into each others eyes, the older one was confused and wondered what Kei had meant all through the while.
The younger one smiled, and jumped as he embraced Yabu "Hehehe. Don't worry, Ya-chan. I'll be fine. I know how much this means to you, so really, don't worry about me, and have a great time!"
Even after this, Yabu still felt bad "But! I still don't want you to be alone.. And even if you're with other guys so you won't be.. I'll feel.. jealous because I want you to only be with me.." he blushed the last sentence, while Kei chuckled in the thought. Ya-chan can be so possesive sometimes. "And when I'm rehearsing.. all I think about is you, anyway.. I always want to know if you're okay, if you've eaten yet, or if-"
The on-going noise from Yabu's mouth stopped, as he suddenly felt the soft warm lips on his.
The touch was short and quick, but it still sent that wonderful sensation through the two's bodies.
Hehehe. Ya-chan talks too much. Kei put on a cheeky smile, as he ran towards their shared bedroom. He stopped to look at Yabu, who was still shocked by the sudden kiss he recieved. "I told you not to worry, Ya-chan~ I do take care of myself, and there's also never been a time when I didn't think of you.. Hehehe." He stuck his tounge out, and looked cheekily, even 'till now.
As Kei gradually got farther away, to the point where he couldn't be seen anymore, Yabu sensed his feeling of happiness rush through his body. Kei-chan is soo unpredictable! He grinned while remembering their lips in contact.
He's also always kind and considerate.
He went to put his shoes on quietly, so as to not wake anyone up. He didn't feel guilty anymore, for leaving Kei, because he knew that he would be okay.
Yabu smiled as he walked outside, getting even more excited about rehearsing She Loves Me, when he was certain that Kei would be thinking about him enjoying it.
Part Two: The Recording
"No, no, no. Yamada, Chinen, stop a minute," Takeru, who was behind the screen of the recording room, breathed onto the microphone, then stopped the music. He was recently asked by Johnny to be incharge of recording Chinen Yuri and Yamada Ryosuke's new duet song. Apparently, according to his coleages who worked with them in the past said that, Chinen and Yamada's voices are beautiful and unique. They phrased it as "like two angels singing a lullaby to a devil which releases his unforgivable, bad soul" Their voices are that divine. So he accepted to Johnny's offer as so he can hear the famous "Angelic Voices" of the two popular members of Hey! Say! JUMP.
But little did he know that he would encounter disappointment, as what he was hearing now, wasn't angelic, unique, or beautiful. Instead the two boys' singing were all over the place, they weren't in sync, and there was something important missing in their voices.. feelings, and the connection between each other.
"What's wrong, Takeru-san?" asked Yamada in confusion, as to why the recorder stopped in the middle of his and Chinen's chorus.
"Yamada, Chinen.. are you okay?" Takeru replied with a question.
"Your singing is not like how it normally is. And Chinen, your voice is too.. quiet."
"Really? I'm sorry, Takeru-san, Yamada. I'll try to increase the volume of my voice, so can we try again?" Chinen said. He felt Yamada's stare on him, and thought he was angry with him for making a mistake. Afterall, he knew how much this duet meant to Yamada, because he was the one who wrote the lyrics and composed the music. So Yamada really wanted it to turn out good, and get it produced fast.
Chinen turned to look at him, "Gomen, Yamada." He noticed that his second apology seemed to fade away that angry-looking stare of Yamada's, so he thought he was forgiven. He felt relieved.
"Ok. Let's start again," Takeru said. "Chinen, remember the volume of your voice, ok?" then the music started.
The recording was going well until, instead of the volume being Chinen's problem, he sang the wrong words.
"Oy, 'Chibinen'!" Yamada shouted at him.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I.. I don't know what's wrong.." Why do I feel so ligh-headed all of a sudden?
"Hey, uhm, why don't we do this another time. Seems like Chinen isn't in the mood for singing, and I don't think right now's the correct time for us to be recording a song." Takeru said over the microphone, disappointed once again.
Chinen knew he couldn't change Takeru-san's mind, so he just accepted, "Yes. Ok."
Yamada seemed really angry, as they walked out of the recording room.
"What's wrong with you?!" Yamada fumed. He was totally back to his annoying mode.
"What do you mean 'what's wrong with me'?!" Chinen asked, getting a bit angry himself. He got up late, and was obviously still tired, and now Yamada was making him feel even worse. "You're the one who didn't wake me up this morning, making me late, and.. I couldn't have breakfast, because of that!" If only I had more to eat yesterday.. but I didn't beacuse I was too busy thinking about your idiotic attitude! Chinen nearly said this out loud.
"What? So now I have to wake you up, just because you moved into my room?!" Yamada tried not to remember the reason why he didn't. While Chinen got more infuriated that he couldn't come up with anything to say anymore. He couldn't believe how Yamada was acting right now.
He pulled an annoyed face and finally said, "Whatever, Yamada. I don't care anymore."
Chinen made an exist, feeling mixed emotions. I didn't want to sound so mean just then, but I just don't get him! I mean, If he was angry with me because I've been making mistakes on the song, he still doesn't forgive me when I apologies! And why does his personality change so quickly?! Like yesterday, he got on my nerves for the whole time, but when my safety was concerned, he started acting all worried about me and saved me, even when I ended up landing on him.. But then after that he gets all annoying again like last night about the sofa and the lamp. And now! URRGGHH!!! I am seriously gonna scream in a minute!
Yamada was left standing still. He was so confused in his feelings, and he had alot going through his mind, aswell. What is up with that guy?! I know he knows that this song is important to me.. So why would he act like that?! And why is he being all tense and high-tempered?! URRGGHH!! Just stop thinking about him, Yamada! He kicked a door as he walked past it.
After a while of stomping his way to the exist, he found it hard to obey his thought of ignoring the guy, and stopped as he came to a surprising thought. Yeah.. Afterall, that Chibinen doesn't normally act like that.. he was unlike his usuall self.. I know he's tired.. but, there might be another reason.. Ah! Yamada was reminded about what happened last night. Chinen using all his energy for shooting their new PV, getting his room flooded, not noticing anything about the water as he felt too tired and stayed in the bathtub too long.. falling and getting hurt on the forehead, sleeping nearly at 2am, did he even eat yesterday?, he hadn't seen if he did, wasn't it about -2 degrees last night? I know because I used two thick blankets and I was wearing my most warmest clothes.. and that Chibinen.. he slept on the floor.. didn't eat breakfast either.......
Yamada was now running as fast as he can, not realizing that the anger he felt earlier, was gradually being replaced by a strong worrying.
He tried to look everywhere for Chinen, but Yamada was never good at finding people. There was one place left where he thought the younger one could've gone. He looked at his watch, seeing it was only seven thirty and thought it was still early for Chinen to be at school. But he sprinted there, anyway.
Just to be sure.
Part Three: The One That Replaced The Icecream Yoghurt
Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. Whoosh!~
Yamada saw Chinen dribble a ball and shoot. "What the hell?! This guy's playing Basketball! He looks too well to be having a fever..! ..I worried for nothing..!!" he angrily walked away, feeling stupid, and left the basketball team with their morning practice.
"You're going overboard, Chii." Yuto said, as his now sweaty friend came to sit on the bench with him.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Chinen huffed, and drank half the water in his bottle in a split second.
"Look at you..! I mean, you must be hella tired from sleeping really late last night, then recording a song at six thirty in the morning, then rushing over to school so that you won't miss basketball practice.. and no breakfast! I'm surprised you aren't dead yet!"
Chinen looked weirdly at his friend, "What? Don't say that Yuu! How would you feel if I actually do die today?!"
Yuto answered quickly, and put on the most sarcastic tone ever, "I'll say thank you to God!!"
The two both laughed, Chinen pushing Yuto's shoulder back, as he always does when his friend acts like this.
After that long moment, Chinen suddenly said something which startled Yuto, "I'm surprised you're not eating any icecream yoghurt..!!" He laughed again, while Yuto responded to this.
"Hehehe. Well, icecream yoghurt is my niiban now." The older one said, with a very mysterious smile.
Chinen became very interested in this, as it was the first time that his overly-obssesed-with-icecream-yoghurt friend had said that he liked something rather than that sweet. "Eh??? Really??? What is it? What is it Yuu?" He began to nag, annoyingly.
"It's not a what," Yuto automatically said, "It's Ryutaro."
"R-R-Ryu?..!" Chinen was so surprised that this conversation was even brought to their classroom. He was even more curious now, because it was, again, the first time Yuto had said something like this to him.
Chinen wore an eager face as Yuto began to utter a sentence. "I like him, Chii." he looked serious when he said this, and stared deeply into Chinen's eyes. The younger one didn't know why the stare seemed like it meant that he had something to do with this. But he pushed that thought out of his mind, thinking it was nothing.
"Ehh??? Really?? Since when?" He put on his eaager-to-know expression again, and leaned at the edge of his friends desk.
That unexplainable, weird look came from Yuto's eyes again, and shot through Chinen's. "I don't know. But what I do know is, that when I found out.. It was too late." Ryutaro already liked.. you.
What? He's giving me that look again.. and what does he mean by 'too late'? What exactly happened? Before Chinen could question his friend.. he felt the pain.
It happened to be the quick type of pain, but to Chinen the affect was in slow motion.
The first thing he felt was his body burn hot. He doesn't know why he didn't feel this before, but he knew he had a high temperature.
The next thing was his stomach. It felt like it was being twisted into a knot, and it squeezed, strongly.
The last thing he felt was his wounded forehead when it hit the ground. The sting started from there, then spread across his whole body like he was being electricuted.
Yuto was right, I did go overboard. He thought this last sentence before everything went black.
Part Four: The Nurse's Office
"Chii!!" Yuto stood from his chair, and was completely shocked as he saw his friend drop hard on the floor. Everyone else gathered 'round Chinen, some people not knowing how to help, and others who couldn't careless and took photos.
"Hey!! Move!! Get out the way!!" Yuto saw Yamada push through the people, and knelt down to Chinen. He looked at Yuto, then yelled, "What are you doing just standing there?! Go tell the nurse a student's just fainted, and we'll be right there!" Yuto immediately obeyed and dashed towards the nurse's office.
The people that surrounded Chinen witnessed Yamada putting the guy on his arms and lifting him carefully. "Uwaa!! Yama-chan is so kind!!"
"Lucky Chii!"
"YamaChii moment!"
"Take pictures!"
Yamada couldn't care less, and walked out the classroom, heading to the nurse's room.
He looked at the one in his arms before the words appeared in his head. I knew it. You do have a fever. He started to feel bad about not making sure if Chinen really did. Yamada suddenly started to realize that whenever he would say to himself not to think about this guy, he couldn't. And that the more he thinks about Chinen, when he feels something unpleasant's going to happen to him, the more he gets worried.
What's hapening 'Chibinen'? Why do a feel a fast thumping in my chest whenever i see you, or be with you? Why does my holding you in my arms make me tremble as if I'm holding a most precious gem? Tell me why I can't stop thinking about you, Chinen. ..Tell me why I-
"Hurry, Yamada! Put him on that bed!" Yuto interrupted Yamada's thoughts, and pointed to the bed that the nurse was sitting next to.
It took Yamada a few seconds before he snapped out of his daze, then he quickly did as he was told.
After Chinen was gently layed on the bed and the nurse had taken a look at him, Yamada and Yuto had to go back to their lessons.
Yamada showed the concern on his face, as he looked back at Chinen while he walked to the door.
"Don't worry, he'll be okay here." The nurse called out.
Before Yuto went to follow Yamada, he needed to tell Chinen something first. "Chii!! I'm really sorry for saying that I'd thank god if you die today!! I didn't mean it!! Seriously!! Don't die, Chii!!" Yuto was overreacting, but he didn't care because he was serious. Although, the nurse didn't seem to think the same as she had to drag him to get him out of the room.
In the next second, the room was quiet. All the nurse did was drink her coffee while she read a magazine. This carried on for quite a while, until her cellphone vibrated and so she went outside to take it.
When the footsteps faded away, the door creeked open, then Ryutaro entered.
His face displayed worriness, as he saw Chinen lying on the bed.
There was one thing that Ryutaro hated the most.. and that was seeing the one he loves hurt.
He wanted to ask Chinen if he was feeling okay now, or if anything still hurts.. but obviously he doesn't want to wake him up.
Ryutaro sat on the stool next to the bed then held Chinen's hand.
He couldn't explain, even to himself, how worried he was.
The younger one stayed like that for a moment, then he slowly moved his hand up to touch Chinen's forehead. "Ah! You're temperature's still high!" he said out loud, as he was shocked at the amount of hotness generated from the older one's body.
Ryutaro didn't want Chinen to suffer from this fever anymore, so he started to think of how he can help him. A few seconds passed by until he finally knew what to do. He knew it was sly, but it will make Chinen better.
Ryutaro stood up, then leaned closer to the older one's face.
You know, the quickest way of getting rid of a fever.. is by giving it to somebody else..
He leaned even closer.. the breathing of Chinen through his nose, gradually nearing Ryutaro's top lip..

"I told you not to worry, Ya-chan~ I do take care of myself, and there's also never been a time when I didn't think of you.. Hehehe." He stuck his tounge out, and looked cheekily, even 'till now.
As Kei gradually got farther away, to the point where he couldn't be seen anymore, Yabu sensed his feeling of happiness rush through his body. Kei-chan is soo unpredictable! He grinned while remembering their lips in contact.
He's also always kind and considerate.
He went to put his shoes on quietly, so as to not wake anyone up. He didn't feel guilty anymore, for leaving Kei, because he knew that he would be okay.
Yabu smiled as he walked outside, getting even more excited about rehearsing She Loves Me, when he was certain that Kei would be thinking about him enjoying it.
Part Two: The Recording
"No, no, no. Yamada, Chinen, stop a minute," Takeru, who was behind the screen of the recording room, breathed onto the microphone, then stopped the music. He was recently asked by Johnny to be incharge of recording Chinen Yuri and Yamada Ryosuke's new duet song. Apparently, according to his coleages who worked with them in the past said that, Chinen and Yamada's voices are beautiful and unique. They phrased it as "like two angels singing a lullaby to a devil which releases his unforgivable, bad soul" Their voices are that divine. So he accepted to Johnny's offer as so he can hear the famous "Angelic Voices" of the two popular members of Hey! Say! JUMP.
But little did he know that he would encounter disappointment, as what he was hearing now, wasn't angelic, unique, or beautiful. Instead the two boys' singing were all over the place, they weren't in sync, and there was something important missing in their voices.. feelings, and the connection between each other.
"What's wrong, Takeru-san?" asked Yamada in confusion, as to why the recorder stopped in the middle of his and Chinen's chorus.
"Yamada, Chinen.. are you okay?" Takeru replied with a question.
"Your singing is not like how it normally is. And Chinen, your voice is too.. quiet."
"Really? I'm sorry, Takeru-san, Yamada. I'll try to increase the volume of my voice, so can we try again?" Chinen said. He felt Yamada's stare on him, and thought he was angry with him for making a mistake. Afterall, he knew how much this duet meant to Yamada, because he was the one who wrote the lyrics and composed the music. So Yamada really wanted it to turn out good, and get it produced fast.
Chinen turned to look at him, "Gomen, Yamada." He noticed that his second apology seemed to fade away that angry-looking stare of Yamada's, so he thought he was forgiven. He felt relieved.
"Ok. Let's start again," Takeru said. "Chinen, remember the volume of your voice, ok?" then the music started.
The recording was going well until, instead of the volume being Chinen's problem, he sang the wrong words.
"Oy, 'Chibinen'!" Yamada shouted at him.
"I'm sorry, I'm sorry! I.. I don't know what's wrong.." Why do I feel so ligh-headed all of a sudden?
"Hey, uhm, why don't we do this another time. Seems like Chinen isn't in the mood for singing, and I don't think right now's the correct time for us to be recording a song." Takeru said over the microphone, disappointed once again.
Chinen knew he couldn't change Takeru-san's mind, so he just accepted, "Yes. Ok."
Yamada seemed really angry, as they walked out of the recording room.
"What's wrong with you?!" Yamada fumed. He was totally back to his annoying mode.
"What do you mean 'what's wrong with me'?!" Chinen asked, getting a bit angry himself. He got up late, and was obviously still tired, and now Yamada was making him feel even worse. "You're the one who didn't wake me up this morning, making me late, and.. I couldn't have breakfast, because of that!" If only I had more to eat yesterday.. but I didn't beacuse I was too busy thinking about your idiotic attitude! Chinen nearly said this out loud.
"What? So now I have to wake you up, just because you moved into my room?!" Yamada tried not to remember the reason why he didn't. While Chinen got more infuriated that he couldn't come up with anything to say anymore. He couldn't believe how Yamada was acting right now.
He pulled an annoyed face and finally said, "Whatever, Yamada. I don't care anymore."
Chinen made an exist, feeling mixed emotions. I didn't want to sound so mean just then, but I just don't get him! I mean, If he was angry with me because I've been making mistakes on the song, he still doesn't forgive me when I apologies! And why does his personality change so quickly?! Like yesterday, he got on my nerves for the whole time, but when my safety was concerned, he started acting all worried about me and saved me, even when I ended up landing on him.. But then after that he gets all annoying again like last night about the sofa and the lamp. And now! URRGGHH!!! I am seriously gonna scream in a minute!
Yamada was left standing still. He was so confused in his feelings, and he had alot going through his mind, aswell. What is up with that guy?! I know he knows that this song is important to me.. So why would he act like that?! And why is he being all tense and high-tempered?! URRGGHH!! Just stop thinking about him, Yamada! He kicked a door as he walked past it.
After a while of stomping his way to the exist, he found it hard to obey his thought of ignoring the guy, and stopped as he came to a surprising thought. Yeah.. Afterall, that Chibinen doesn't normally act like that.. he was unlike his usuall self.. I know he's tired.. but, there might be another reason.. Ah! Yamada was reminded about what happened last night. Chinen using all his energy for shooting their new PV, getting his room flooded, not noticing anything about the water as he felt too tired and stayed in the bathtub too long.. falling and getting hurt on the forehead, sleeping nearly at 2am, did he even eat yesterday?, he hadn't seen if he did, wasn't it about -2 degrees last night? I know because I used two thick blankets and I was wearing my most warmest clothes.. and that Chibinen.. he slept on the floor.. didn't eat breakfast either.......
Yamada was now running as fast as he can, not realizing that the anger he felt earlier, was gradually being replaced by a strong worrying.
He tried to look everywhere for Chinen, but Yamada was never good at finding people. There was one place left where he thought the younger one could've gone. He looked at his watch, seeing it was only seven thirty and thought it was still early for Chinen to be at school. But he sprinted there, anyway.
Just to be sure.
Part Three: The One That Replaced The Icecream Yoghurt
Bounce. Bounce. Bounce. Whoosh!~
Yamada saw Chinen dribble a ball and shoot. "What the hell?! This guy's playing Basketball! He looks too well to be having a fever..! ..I worried for nothing..!!" he angrily walked away, feeling stupid, and left the basketball team with their morning practice.
"You're going overboard, Chii." Yuto said, as his now sweaty friend came to sit on the bench with him.
"Huh? What do you mean?" Chinen huffed, and drank half the water in his bottle in a split second.
"Look at you..! I mean, you must be hella tired from sleeping really late last night, then recording a song at six thirty in the morning, then rushing over to school so that you won't miss basketball practice.. and no breakfast! I'm surprised you aren't dead yet!"
Chinen looked weirdly at his friend, "What? Don't say that Yuu! How would you feel if I actually do die today?!"
Yuto answered quickly, and put on the most sarcastic tone ever, "I'll say thank you to God!!"
The two both laughed, Chinen pushing Yuto's shoulder back, as he always does when his friend acts like this.
After that long moment, Chinen suddenly said something which startled Yuto, "I'm surprised you're not eating any icecream yoghurt..!!" He laughed again, while Yuto responded to this.
"Hehehe. Well, icecream yoghurt is my niiban now." The older one said, with a very mysterious smile.
Chinen became very interested in this, as it was the first time that his overly-obssesed-with-icecream-yoghurt friend had said that he liked something rather than that sweet. "Eh??? Really??? What is it? What is it Yuu?" He began to nag, annoyingly.
"It's not a what," Yuto automatically said, "It's Ryutaro."
"R-R-Ryu?..!" Chinen was so surprised that this conversation was even brought to their classroom. He was even more curious now, because it was, again, the first time Yuto had said something like this to him.
Chinen wore an eager face as Yuto began to utter a sentence. "I like him, Chii." he looked serious when he said this, and stared deeply into Chinen's eyes. The younger one didn't know why the stare seemed like it meant that he had something to do with this. But he pushed that thought out of his mind, thinking it was nothing.
"Ehh??? Really?? Since when?" He put on his eaager-to-know expression again, and leaned at the edge of his friends desk.
That unexplainable, weird look came from Yuto's eyes again, and shot through Chinen's. "I don't know. But what I do know is, that when I found out.. It was too late." Ryutaro already liked.. you.
What? He's giving me that look again.. and what does he mean by 'too late'? What exactly happened? Before Chinen could question his friend.. he felt the pain.
It happened to be the quick type of pain, but to Chinen the affect was in slow motion.
The first thing he felt was his body burn hot. He doesn't know why he didn't feel this before, but he knew he had a high temperature.
The next thing was his stomach. It felt like it was being twisted into a knot, and it squeezed, strongly.
The last thing he felt was his wounded forehead when it hit the ground. The sting started from there, then spread across his whole body like he was being electricuted.
Yuto was right, I did go overboard. He thought this last sentence before everything went black.
Part Four: The Nurse's Office
"Chii!!" Yuto stood from his chair, and was completely shocked as he saw his friend drop hard on the floor. Everyone else gathered 'round Chinen, some people not knowing how to help, and others who couldn't careless and took photos.
"Hey!! Move!! Get out the way!!" Yuto saw Yamada push through the people, and knelt down to Chinen. He looked at Yuto, then yelled, "What are you doing just standing there?! Go tell the nurse a student's just fainted, and we'll be right there!" Yuto immediately obeyed and dashed towards the nurse's office.
The people that surrounded Chinen witnessed Yamada putting the guy on his arms and lifting him carefully. "Uwaa!! Yama-chan is so kind!!"
"Lucky Chii!"
"YamaChii moment!"
"Take pictures!"
Yamada couldn't care less, and walked out the classroom, heading to the nurse's room.
He looked at the one in his arms before the words appeared in his head. I knew it. You do have a fever. He started to feel bad about not making sure if Chinen really did. Yamada suddenly started to realize that whenever he would say to himself not to think about this guy, he couldn't. And that the more he thinks about Chinen, when he feels something unpleasant's going to happen to him, the more he gets worried.
What's hapening 'Chibinen'? Why do a feel a fast thumping in my chest whenever i see you, or be with you? Why does my holding you in my arms make me tremble as if I'm holding a most precious gem? Tell me why I can't stop thinking about you, Chinen. ..Tell me why I-
"Hurry, Yamada! Put him on that bed!" Yuto interrupted Yamada's thoughts, and pointed to the bed that the nurse was sitting next to.
It took Yamada a few seconds before he snapped out of his daze, then he quickly did as he was told.
After Chinen was gently layed on the bed and the nurse had taken a look at him, Yamada and Yuto had to go back to their lessons.
Yamada showed the concern on his face, as he looked back at Chinen while he walked to the door.
"Don't worry, he'll be okay here." The nurse called out.
Before Yuto went to follow Yamada, he needed to tell Chinen something first. "Chii!! I'm really sorry for saying that I'd thank god if you die today!! I didn't mean it!! Seriously!! Don't die, Chii!!" Yuto was overreacting, but he didn't care because he was serious. Although, the nurse didn't seem to think the same as she had to drag him to get him out of the room.
In the next second, the room was quiet. All the nurse did was drink her coffee while she read a magazine. This carried on for quite a while, until her cellphone vibrated and so she went outside to take it.
When the footsteps faded away, the door creeked open, then Ryutaro entered.
His face displayed worriness, as he saw Chinen lying on the bed.
There was one thing that Ryutaro hated the most.. and that was seeing the one he loves hurt.
He wanted to ask Chinen if he was feeling okay now, or if anything still hurts.. but obviously he doesn't want to wake him up.
Ryutaro sat on the stool next to the bed then held Chinen's hand.
He couldn't explain, even to himself, how worried he was.
The younger one stayed like that for a moment, then he slowly moved his hand up to touch Chinen's forehead. "Ah! You're temperature's still high!" he said out loud, as he was shocked at the amount of hotness generated from the older one's body.
Ryutaro didn't want Chinen to suffer from this fever anymore, so he started to think of how he can help him. A few seconds passed by until he finally knew what to do. He knew it was sly, but it will make Chinen better.
Ryutaro stood up, then leaned closer to the older one's face.
You know, the quickest way of getting rid of a fever.. is by giving it to somebody else..
He leaned even closer.. the breathing of Chinen through his nose, gradually nearing Ryutaro's top lip..
