When I was first learning to sew, one of the things I really wanted to learn first was how to patch-up jeans for my husband. I'm not crazy about patches, but he really is. Yes, that's right. Apple butter-sauce. I got all geared up yesterday to make something of the baskets and baskets of apples we have in our dining room so I thought I would make apple butter. Oh my goodness! Where does the time go? I can barely believe it is already Monday and the weekend is gone. I had a lot of fun yesterday, as I spent all day with my husband at the state fair. There was much walking around, much funnel cake and elephant ears (the booth called it road kill for some reason) and there were pictures, too.
