On my mind the last few days:
Living a Torah-obedient lifestyle isn't just a Jewish thing, it's a G-d thing! He was the one who called them out from the land of Ur to live this kind of life in order that they would be a blessing to the nations. Yes, He called them first, but with everyone in mind! When we
join ourselves to Israel we're not just adopting the Jewish way of life, we're adopting the kind of life G-d wants us to live, His instructions for how we are to glorify Him, what He wants our lives to look like, in order to be accurate reflections of who He is.
It's a little funny, because sometimes my family will refer to me as having gone "Jewish" when really I'm just doing what G-d has stated he wants from His followers.
