Sam's always touching Dean.
A quick brush of their fingers, a hand stroking down Dean's back. The touches always had meaning, little messages only Dean could read.
I'm here, I love you.
I need you, I'll always need you.
I'll never leave you. Never again.
Trust me, love me, please.
But Dean can't. Because even if Sam doesn't know it now, when this is all over, he will leave. And Dean can't let him back in, can't trust him, can't love him like he used to. It hurts too much when he leaves. And he will.
