Update 16/06/12 (4 Days to Go)
Hello,
Well, don't get too excited, but I have some pretty exciting news.
I'm just gonna go into it, so don't go and wet yourselves in anticipation, please~~~
News: White Apples
In between work, I have been - and this is no joke - starting work on the first ever chapter of White Apples! Now, about half of the chapter is done, give or take, and there's still loads more to do, but overall, this is amazing for me. I know you've been waiting a while for it, so this should be fun, huh? I have plenty of plans for this and more to come, which will all unfold pretty rapidly from now on. What is even more amazing are the connections I'm making, the plots I'm setting up... it's all so exciting! Really!
I think all this progress is due to reading this amazing book I found recently: 'The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks' by Rebecca Skloot, which is about the real story behind the life-saving HeLa cells used in virology and other parts of medicine. Seeing how a book can be written about a person's life, it made me realise what I may be missing out of White Apples without realising it. Hence all the work I've done for it.
Do understand though, that I will NOT be publishing this beast until I have made a lot more progress, writing-wise. Also, please keep in mind - and you must keep this in mind, is that, because of the special plans I have for this fic, and because of the new restrictions that FF.Net is placing on everyone and everything on their site, it looks extremely unlikely that I will be able to have it there as I planned, especially as they don't want any song lyrics unless I've written them all myself, or have written permission from the bands themselves or something (which, I admit, will be impossible).
For this reason, here are all the places I can see this being so far:
- LiveJournal - On this Journal. I wish I could set up a number of different blogs and then have a fic updated in one, and do updates on progress in another, but I can't, so I will label accordingly and you can read! I don't know how long I'm permitted, so we'll see how this pans out...
- Adultfanfiction.net - These guys are much more understanding to my plight, so I will see how it is received here for a good while. They have a rather stable Death Note section, so hopefully, it'll be good. Find me here!)
- Archiveofourown.org - I've applied for a sopt on here, so when I'm on there, I will tell you guys, and I'll move in there. For future reference, we also call this place AO3 (which just makes me think of my English studies for some reason...).
- Wattpad - I'm on there because it is a different space, and despite the prevalence of Twilight, Hunger Games and One Direction, I will manage. Find me here as Ruin_Lee_Oxford!!!
As for the FF.Net situation, I will start posting on there and leave it only as far as it will let me - the moment FF.Net has something to say, I will get outta there, because I want this fic to be enjoyed, and they can't stand in the way of that!!! If they do delete and kick the fic off, I will tell you all where you can find it, and then you can migrate there.
News: The Art of Subconscious Illusion: Rewritten
The plan to rewrite the first seven chapters are still going ahead. This is true. They will be updated in one sweep, and then I will tell you. Once that's done, I will update chapter 12 and see about putting the chapters and my other fics on here. Maybe.
Meanwhile, my plans are going brilliantly. If you must know more, just ask.

Now... I've been staring at this for a while, and now I'm not sure what to write. I suppose I'll just sign off and do something else more productive, like work?
I don't know. If I see fit, I will give you a fic to look at. If not, then... eh~ I'll wait until the end of the Hiatus, or until I know I can do it without screwing up royal.
