More House Stuff
Got home last night to find the house absolutely BOILING (the plumber had been running the heating system as part of the service). We now have lovely thermostatic controls on all the radiators apart from the bathroom ones, plus the second radiator fitted in the lounge. Bad news though, the plumber has discovered a wet patch in the airing cupboard, he can't trace where the water is coming from, but recommends we get a new tank, as the old one looks past it /sigh.
But good news - the carpet is being fitted on Friday! And once that is done we can move all of our junk back into the lounge and start working on the dining room.
And for those who have ever sweltered in the heat of our current computer room, you'll be pleased to know that we're getting proper air-conditioning fitted in the dining room as we convert it to the new computer room :)
