Lazy Weekend
A nice quiet weekend this weekend - our friends Joe and Sam from EQ came to stay. We had much fun playing Donkey Konga on the Gamecube - they brought their two sets of bongos with them, so we were playing 4-part :)
Our lounge is all starting to come together - the walls are now fully stripped, the plastering has been done, the ceiling has been painted, and we're ready for the paint to go on the walls. Our builder kindly cleared the room out before he finished on Friday so that we could use it this weekend, so we got to try our new layout for the first time, and I really think it's going to work :) The sofas fitted nicely into their new locations, and the TV screen looks really good on the wall (plus the builder has laid the cables for it into the wall, so it looks really neat too!).
The new fire is due for delivery this week, we're still waiting to hear about the carpet and curtains (but we don't want them in quite yet tbh!)
