i can't remember my last update...that happens to me a lot :)
so thursday night scott came home and that made me very happy! we just kind of hung out, walked the mall and hugged a lot, hehe. friday i got out of work really early because there were no more patients, yay! i packed my stuff, loaded my car and was off to pick up sid, scott and dan. we made the uphill treck to flagstaff if my pretty new crv (okay so it needs a bath...) and with the exception of getting extraordinarily lost for an hour trying to find our hotel because of a lack of directions and a map...things went well! okay so i could've gone w/o the screaming and bickering but eventually we got past it and found our hotel which scott's paretns were nice enough to pay for one of our rooms. we arrived a bit later than we wanted but it ended up okay. we met up with the chamberlains for a nice congratulations on getting your masters amanda dinner. that was cool, sid and i hadn't seen them in a long time. i think the guys may have felt a little out of place but they held their own and were very nice :) and of course the chamberlains refused to let us pay for our own dinners, grrr! back at the hotel we swam in the indoor/outdoor pool which sucked cuz it was not nearly heated enough and they put their stinking spa outside-grrr! so after a nice hot bath to make up for it i headed off to the grocery store with my accomplice sid in search of yummy drinks. watermelon smirnoff, mikes hard lemonade, cherry wine coolers and a box of wheat thins later we returned once again. after a short night of drinking due to extreme exhaustion we called it a night. saturday was a calm day of wandering around downtown flag, the flag mall and a downhill cruise back to phoenix. back home scott and i ate dinner and headed out to watch aeon flux. not a bad movie but not a good one either. i liked charlize theron but i felt like i had missed something during the whole movie. little too fast, few too many scene changes, not enough explaination and details. but really not all that bad.
sunday i overslept through my alarm then figured out why and fixed it for the future. then i went out to finish my christmas shopping which i started nearly a month ago. at least i was successful! i finished my evening by renting mr and mrs smith and baking cookies with scott. we never got to the movie- cookies take a long time :) but they're yummy!
today was poo cuz i had to work the morning and afternoon shift since amanda decided to go on vacation. but that's okay, i had 10 massages so office hours aside i made $150 today plus a five dollar tip. and i even got gipped like three massages, oh well. our new countertops in the kitchen got installed today, they look lovely! our house is certainly coming together- slowly but surely! and i decided to finish this night by eating cookies and drinking egg nog with scott then watching about half of our previously rented movie. lol, eventually we might finish it...if not, oh well we already saw it once!
this was a very long and unecessarily detailed entry which i hope you all enjoyed. if not...tough :) but now i shall bid you adieu for i must sleep in order to hang out with sid tomorrow whom i have not seen since saturday! (*gasp* hehe) later!
