it seems something always happens when i go to the theatre...

or i'm just losing my patience for stupid people. a few weeks ago seth and i were leaving the movie theatre and a bunch of bummy guys on the sidewalk whistled and made lude comments at me as we walked by. this has happened to me at least since i was twelve, and i usually just blush, get mad, and embarrassed, and try to ignore them. this time, without even flinching, i flipped them off as we walked by... and it felt so good. tonight, before going to see 'rent' at the shubert, we stopped in 7-11 for the all-important junior mints. these two beefy guys were standing in the front of the store and stared as i walked by, and were still blatantly rubber-necking as i walked away from them to the back of the store. i looked them straight in the face and told them they were being very rude, to which they sheepishly apologized and left quickly.

i'm not stupid, i wouldnt start it up with someone in a dangerous situation, but for some reason i just dont feel like ignoring ignorant people anymore. ::shrug:: maybe it'll be good for my blood pressure =P
