Stuff I like:
-Chuck Klosterman. If John Cusack's character in "High Fidelity" was an author who loved hair metal, he'd be this guy. I'm devouring his books.
-Twitter. I don't need another social networking site, but the tweets of comedians like Michael Ian Black and Aziz Ansari are worth it
-Battlestar: Galactica. The best one-hour show I've seen since Buffy. It's equally dark and amazing. I'm only slightly addicted.
-Working more hours at Borders. I don't know if it's a scheduling snafu or not, but I'm riding the wave.
-seeing Brittany this weekend for the first time in over 2 weeks. I'm helping her use Powerpoint, which she's never used before.
So Hilary told me about a writer who penned a script he wants to revise. It's about giving dying people a grand, quirky, exciting death. It's the kind of idea that a great writer can work with, but sadly, this guy isn't a great writer.
Did I mention he's blind?...and has been for 35 years? Yeah.
So after I tell a blind man he can't write, I have to tell Jill I'm quitting my internship to get work hours. I've learned all I can from that place and I'm blowing away money (which is my primary concern right now to be honest).
I'm going to Purchase again this weekend for a play and maybe a stop at Zombie Prom. I finally smoked with Long Island Rachel. We watched "My So-Called Life" and I borrowed "Reality Bites" (they're both so 90s, I want to throw up). Beforehand we saw Sunshine Cleaning, which was kinda disappointing. My next goal is to try and procure some Saves The Day/Alkaline Trio tickets. Wish me luck.
GodDAMN I love Battlestar Galactica! GRRRRRR!...Sorry
