These are cousins of my husband, and distant cousins of mine.
Rabbi Giacomo (Yaakov) Tedesco, Italian Yekke (German Jew), was born in 1799. This is his daughter Adelaide (typical Italian name) with a wig (and her husband). They spoke Yiddish and Italian.

 A new frum shop has opened, with crazy choice! They even have nice cheese, Nutriwhip, several types of meat (kosher, glatt, bet Yosef, Chabad...). The heimish bakery seems to have re-opened. It's a bit useless as many restaurants nearby do pastries and people buy bread at the local non Jewish supermarket as it's cheap.
