Crazy story (about a rebbe, as Mati likes)
My husband met the rebbe he had given tzedaka to on Friday, today!
He was near the clothes charity, asking for white shirts for the bachurim of his yeshiva.
He asked my husband if he could drive him to the Jewishest area (where we live), and he did.
This priceless convo happened in the car
Mati: it's a rebbe?
Husband: yes
Mati: it is soon Rosh Hashana, Hashem will rebuild the Beth Hamikdash, which is a big shul - maybe on Rosh Hashana?
Husband to rebbe: where do you live?
Rebbe: in Bne Brak
Mati: where is BB?
Rebbe: in Israel
Mati: like the Beth Hamikdash? I wanna go
That's when the rebbe said she was beautiful, intelligent, advanced and bright. A tzadeket you can learn from more than from a tzadik. And gave her a bracha to be bigger than a tzadik.
I am still wowed. I mean, how often can such a rebbe give this bracha?? and to a girl?? BH.
He then said he wished us to have many other children tzadikim like her. Please G-d!!!
Then, a third time, my husband found this rebbe, lost, just in front of our building! He was desperate for someone to allow him to do a phone call, he said people here play frum but don't do chesed, and since my husband helped him three times he is a tzadik and he wishes him 3 times more brachot, and parnasa tova, etc.
