Everyone I know that has been on jury duty has said it ends up being a total non-event. Including the time that I was on duty a year ago...the worst part of it was the fact that they didn't allow knitting needles in the courthouse and I was all, "so what the hell am I supposed to do?..."

I got there at 9 both days, they let us out for lunch at noon, we got back at 1, and I was done by 3 both days.

Can't wait to see the pics, too! Btw, L. said the announcement came in the mail today. We're seeing Patti Smith Wed. night... by the time we got the tix, there were only $20 "partial view" seats left, so we'll see what those look like. :) We may end up only HEARING Patti, but that's ok. A friend who's seen her b4 said to make sure to bring earplugs because Ms. Patti's LOUD!!
