An update
So its official, I'm getting a master's degree and moving on from Rice as of next spring! Or at least I've informed my advisor and I am sure any day now he will learn to accept it.
If feel I have come up with a contained project which should be able to be done in a year (at least the ground work) and I am working to develop all the different parts of it now. If I play my cards right, I should be able to get at least one good pub out of this experience.
Lately, I feel like all I can talk about or focus on is work, ugh! I need some social life. Maybe I can change that by taking a trip this weekend... who knows?
The good news is that I am moving in about two weeks! I am just moving around the corner from where I am, but I will be gaining a roommate, a washer/dryer and a balcony (yeah, happy plants!) and its a quarter mile closer to rice! I am really excited!
Weirdly I am moving in with a friend from high school who I wasn't really all that close to then but who happens to live in houston right now and her roommate ended up moving out at the last minute. I really think it will work out since we became pretty good friends last year, so here goes nothing!
