The Last Girl by Jane Casey. I've really liked her other books in the Maeve Kerrigan series. Excellent mysteries, compelling characters, well-written. The perfect summer read.

Slashback by Rob Thurman. Cal and Niko make like Sam and Dean. Horror and humor.
Zero Separation by Philip Donlay. A man with a hidden past is blackmailed into helping an FBI agent find a stolen corporate jet and stop a terrorist plot. Standard thriller. ( Read more... )

I am back at work, but by the end of the day I'm soooo tired. There were two big workshops at the Big Branch. I had to set up the tech. Our ceiling-mounted projector broke last week, so we had to get a portable projector and hook it up to the sound system and a laptop. I was thrilled when it worked ( Read more... )

I spent a good part of the evening playing (cursing, frowning, tweaking) with the ePub software instructions from my library online catalog. Following the instructions was not making any sense at all until I finally figured out (on my own) how to do it. Plug in your device, Open your ePub library and DRAG the title onto the Nook file.
