[She had no clue what would be awaiting her upon the other side of the train's doors. The whole ride was one of reflection mixed with curiosity and worry. Was this some sort of strange method to get her to friends who she had merely been standing on the beach for the entire time that she could remember? She closed her eyes, not seeing the shadowy

She stashes the pocket-watch in one of her bags so the screen is black and the sounds of fighting can still be heard and mentally hopes this works. The familiar weight of Destiny's Embrace tugs at her right hand and she smiles a tiny bit, glad she remembered she actually could summon this]
Stay away!
[One hit sends the Zombie back, but it lunges and she narrowly avoids getting bitten, smacking the Zombie on the back of the neck with the keyblade and sending its body crashing down, decapitated. She recoils from that body soon after, towards Aqua, the Keyblade disappearing from her hand as she shakes her head and wraps her arms around herself, shivering before looking up at the armored knight who she assumed was the woman in the audio from what she could hear] This was...not the welcoming party I'd expect...but thank you so much for coming to help me.

Guess in times of crises, he could care less about other things like taking care of ones pride. There's also a vague hint of humored relief in his eyes about a certain princess remembering how to summon her Keyblade.]
Guess you just arrived to the party a bit too early, then... or maybe late, given the circumstances. [Riku brushes a bit of ash off his shoulder, smirking before managing a Dark Shield just in front of the door. Somehow, the small little ping! the zombies made against it as the bounced off was oh, so satisfying.]

[Aqua lets her armor fade and smiles to Kairi. Especially after the display of summoning her Keyblade, one that is very familiar to the Master. She's still surprised, sometimes, that she'd passed it onto Kairi.]
Are you okay? They didn't bite you, did they?
[A little bit of mothering. Just a little.]

[She looks back at the woman whose armor just...faded. Her face is so familiar...while mental memories may have forgotten her heart has not, and like a bubble through water the name Aqua comes to mind. Still..."latched" onto Riku, so to speak, she shakes her head] No, they didn't. I'm...a little shaken up, but I am okay. You guys...showed up just in time. [A little smile appears on her face then] I would have asked if you guys were bitten too but it looks like they never even got close enough to do so...

Hey, what are friends for? [He smirks faintly, squeezing before relaxing his grip on her.]

[Aqua watches the two of them for a moment, before looking towards the barrier that Riku had cast.]
How long do you think that will last?
[And in the mean time, she unclips the single piece of armor she still has attached to her sleeves.]
And you might want this, Kairi. Just in case. I can keep them farther away from me and they can't bite through this metal.

...Thank you, Aqua. [She gives an embarrassed smile to the woman however, looking back down at the unfamiliar object] But...how...exactly am I supposed to use this...?

[...also Maleficent and Xehanort, but he isn't going to say that out loud. He nods, focusing on the shield over the door as much as he can while still talking. To be honest he's rather rusty at it other than the small shields of dark he was taught to generate by Ansem the Wise.]
It's been a long time since I tried anything this large. Maybe five minutes without sealing it completely?
[In other words, he isn't sure. Though the amusement at them trying to figure a way to crack through is getting rather old.]

[What did you and Sora do all that time? B| Right, focusing on Kairi again.]
Here, I'll show you.
[She takes a hold of it and carefully clips it around her upper arm. And then points to the circle near the top.]
It's magic based, and protects the wearer from Darkness. All you have to do is quickly hit that spot to activate it. It will automatically trigger, as long as your capable of magic and Keybearers are all capable of it.
Five minutes should be all we need, to make sure we can get to safety.

So...she assumes she has to hit it, right? Which she does, and almost immediately (given a minute or so) she feels...different. Her vision seems narrowed, but that's because she's wearing a helmet. How fast is this magic, exactly? It shocked her that the armor could appear so quickly, even on her] ...Wow...
[She takes off the helmet and looks down on her person to examine the blue-violet armor that Aqua's armor piece gave to her before looking back at Riku with one of those faces. The ones that say many things but can't get all of them out in time]
...Five minutes...is there any other way out of here besides where the shield is?

[He'd tell the rest later, but right now: survival. That was his main goal at the moment.
Turning his attention slightly to Kairi, he gave a faint nod. He could see all those thoughts in her eyes and understand due to their knowing each other for so long. That face was returned by that look of sheer determination; the same one that he always got when he knew an opponent would be tough, but he just couldn't back down from the challenge. Aqua could take care of herself, and now Kairi had a form of defense from their biting ways. Still, he would act as a shield and sword.]
There's the train tracks, but be ready to run. [Monsters and zombies... Sounds like Never Was all over again.] I think mine and Terra's place is closer, Aqua.

Then to your place it is. Mine is closer to the chapel.
Think you're ready, Kairi? Riku and I will cover you when we go.
[Nothing would get near her. Not while she and Riku stuck close to her.]
Reply
Y..yea. Lets go now. I don't want to become a Zombie buffet at this point. [She looked towards Riku with a smile, lifting her hand. Hesitating, she quickly focused and Destiny's Embrace appeared with a sigh of relief, feeling slightly unfamiliar with registration of the gloved hand holding it]

Alright. [He smirked, nodding for them to go ahead and start running. He'd be the rearguard, and as Kairi summoned the Keyblade, he moved to her right-hand side and motioned for her to follow him. Soon as they make it to the forest, the blockade would be gone.]

[Aqua Ran along with Kairi and Riku when they were ready, smiling at how easily Kairi appeared to summon her Keyblade. This was a good time to gauge how well she really used it, give Aqua a chance to see what she had to work with.
Aqua quickly cast a Thunder spell to discourage anything from following too closely, as they ran along the tracks. It was too bad that her Glider couldn't handle the weight of all three of them, or she could get them out of the forest quickly. She'd... definitely be teaching the Glider skill to them soon.]

How many are there...?
[She glances back to Aqua before continuing on the path, not knowing where she was going and she knew her pocket-watch was...somewhere secure on her person. The question was how long could she take until...]
