~* 001 *~ || A Rather Unwelcome Welcoming Party
[She had no clue what would be awaiting her upon the other side of the train's doors. The whole ride was one of reflection mixed with curiosity and worry. Was this some sort of strange method to get her to friends who she had merely been standing on the beach for the entire time that she could remember? She closed her eyes, not seeing the shadowy figures resting outside the windows of the station she just arrived in.
She had been messing with the strange pocket-watch device on the train, so the sounds of her footsteps followed by the muffled thumps are the first audio pieces that come into the feed. The video clicks in without her noticing, noting to everyone viewing their own devices her own face, registering confusion and worry...before the door busts in. Her eyes widen and she almost screams but doesn't, the device quickly showing the floor as she flees away from the incoming zombies, their moaning and grunting ever audible on the device. They haven't seemed to notice her yet, and as she looks around for a weapon to help defend herself (quietly muttering between pants why she couldn't think of anything to use as a spell) she speaks her first words into the device, blue eyes expressing worry, fear and concern.]
If this is...really what happens to people...on this world...[she pauses to take in a shaky breath before continuing] Just....the smell of the decaying...in addition to seeing them...it makes me sick. I'm sure there are others who aren't like them here...but I don't see a way of getting out right now.
[The red-head again turns the device to show her sneakers as doors slam shut and she barricades it from the inside, hoping it will help. She manages to find out how this video thing works and shows off her varying array of chairs and things that make up the barrier]
It won't do much right now, I know... [a hesitant pause as the door shudders, banging and thumping from behind it] but I think it will hold for a little while...
