08 -- Video. Much to her chagrin.

[So, after the business with Break there's an Alice minding her own business in the room she lives in within Gil and Naoki's ~*~LOVE SHACK~*~. And quite possibly thinking about some of the people back home that she's left behind. All in all, it seems to be a relatively quiet day.]

Are you lonely, dear? You look like you want to play~

[Which is why, when someone speaks to her she freaks out, literally falling backwards out of her chair in shock.
And when she realizes just who the visitor is, she's not at all pleased.]

YOU--!

Back to being the lost, scared little sheep you were, I see... separated from the herd again?

T-that's-- you don't know anything! I have the seaweed head and that clown here with me-- and Jack, what about--

Did you really think that, silly rabbit?

...of course! They wouldn't just ignore me like that...

Tut, tut... you already know, don't you? You've seen how busy the raven is with his little boytoy, haven't you? Jack... oh, Jack. He's more inclined to listen to me, of course! And let's not go into the Mad Hatter's life just yet...

How dare you--! You know nothing--

I know everything, Alice~! Na~ok~i and Li~li~! Slowly taking your place in their hearts... how do you know all of it was nothing more than an illusion?

[There's the sound of Alice stumbling back in recoil as she hits the desk, the communicator drops to the ground... and there's Alice arguing with... herself? Her other self, though, was in the purest of whites from head to toe. Uh-oh...]

What do you know? You're not here. You're not real. I already know about how this place is tricking us.

[She snarls, almost as if she had the upper hand. Then--]

Alice...

[That voice... THAT VOICE. Oh, how she never thought she'd hear him again. Her eyes widen, making her pause.]

... O-Oz...?! Is that... no, that can't be right...

[The ghostly form of a young man, 15, 16, blonde hair... it's taking everything of Alice to not just run forward and try to hug the spectral form. Only the ghostly form convinces her otherwise.]

But it is me... are you going to continue denying me?

O-Oz...

Why do you think I left you behind? You never understood. Or maybe you did... and you just thought it fun to use me as you saw fit, Alice?

W-what--!? I... I never-- Oz, I never thought of you as something to be used...

But didn't you say that you only wanted my help in finding your memories? That IS what you said, right...?

[And that stuns Alice into silence. Her hands tighten into fists so hard that her knuckles turn white. Her gloves slowly turn crimson from how hard her fingernails are digging into the palms of her hands.]

Oh, how she is so alone, this silly little sheep! If only you knew what you so threw away! Such sorrow in your eyes, little Alice~ But what did it help? Who ended up getting hurt the most?

What did you accomplish, Alice?

[Oh, dear, how the B-Rabbit is breaking so nicely. It hurt. All of those words stung.

But what came next did it in.]

It's because of your memories that I only have so little left, Alice... what are you going to tell Gil and Ada when I'm gone?

O-oz...

I should've listened to the Will when I had the chance... all you've brought me is nothing but tragedy. At least she would have made things right.

Oz...! Don't... don't say that... you'd... you'd choose her over me...?

[She goes silent. Then, a childish giggle. A giggle that no normal child should make. The Will of the Abyss grins again, but there's a darkness behind her eyes that wasn't there before. Or perhaps it was always there, hiding behind that veneer of innocence... by all accounts, there's something hidden within her that can't be understood.]

Such a wonderful reaction~! Poor Jack... how his vessel will surely break, all~ because~ of~ you~!

Shut up... JUST SHUT UP!!!

[A sudden fit of rage overtakes Alice as the next several minutes are spent throwing beds, desks, chairs, whatever she can find at the two ghosts. She's straining herself to the point of forcibly trying to undo the seal on her power, even -- and it's evident.

Eventually, though, after she exhausts herself (and runs out of shit to throw), she collapses to her knees, both ghosts vanishing before her with mocking smiles on their faces. It doesn't really seem like she notices, but after several minutes she looks up, panting in exhaustion.]

...they're gone...

[It really doesn't register for several long moments, ut when it finally does, she sighs, muttering a curse under her breath. It shouldn't have affected her. It wasn't real. None of it was.

...so why was she curled up and crying into her knees about it? Stupid events... stupid Oz for leaving her here... why couldn't she just disappear now?]

( OOC: ...yep. Ghosties of Oz and the Will of the Abyss followed her home. Red is Alice, gray is Will of the Abyss and gold is Oz. AND EVERYONE IS FREE TO SEE IT SINCE HER COMM WAS ON THE WHOLE TIME but she has yet to notice. And is too out of it to, anyway.

And yeah, she came VERY CLOSE to breaking the seal on her power, too, in her rage. i.e. GIL GET YOUR ASS OVER HERE.)
