[Doctor Leonard McCoy is not amused. But that's often the case anyway. It's the story of his life. And he sighs a bit even as he looks at the communicator. Don't mind that he's going to address the network like one might address the comm on a starship. This is Doctor Leonard McCoy. I've gotten myself situated in this little clinic set up here. It's

Doctors do have this unfortunate habit of caring for their patients after all, but from what he can tell from this man's tone, then hopefully not? He seems like the no bullshit please type. Not that Yoite is one who is qualified to judge this, but he just thinks he kind of sounds like that. Hesitating, he opens, then closes his mouth and lets out a sigh, before speaking up;]
How are you with finding the right kind of medicine.
[And then a pause again, before;]
And I might bleed. It won't need stitches though. [Just saying...]

[A pause.]
As for medicines, I've got a good working knowledge of medical conditions and their assorted cures. What I have access to here though? That's another matter. But I can probably figure something out. You're human, yeah?

[And a pause... Human. Well, biologically, yes. Even if he's not really supposed to be even that any more. Nothing that needs to be mentioned though.]
I am.

[He eyes the boy curiously for a moment.] Well, first of all, what's your name?
For another why don't you come by the clinic. You can tell me about your situation and I can give you a look over, and we'll see what we can come up with as a solution.

I can come there now. If you have time. [He's not going to just assume...]

I'll be there soon.

This is necessary though, so it's not like he can really turn and run out the door- Somehow he feels like he's come too far by now and can't really go back without more questions coming up from it. So he stays where he is, shifting uncomfortably, eyes on the ground as he wonders if he should say something, but... He figures he'll let the doctor speak first.]

[And McCoy? He'll be taking notes for his file.]

Think you can tell me what's brought you in? [He'll find it himself, but it's nice to hear about what the problems the patient has been noticing.]

Various things, really... [He shrugs, in an almost nonchalant manner.] I cough until there's blood sometimes... Fevers... My bones hurt... Sometimes it feels like my heart skip beats...
[Of course, even as he lists these things he doesn't appear too concerned with them. He's pretty confident he won't die anyways. It's just kind of preferable to keep the symptoms under some control.]

[Ok enough of the questions. He picks up his tricorder and approaches the kid.] All right. This is going to give me a read on your vitals and the like, and we'll go from there.
[A pause.] You look underweight. Are you eating regularly?
