[Kaoru's come along to check out the carnival - although after his chat with Temper Vale, he's staying wary of anything that could potentially land him in trouble. He's had enough of that, thanks very much.
He's pretty much recovered from his time in the catacombs, though his hair's still long (there's absolutely no way he can cut it straight himself, and he's not trusting his precious tresses to anyone else unless they're a professional stylist. With catwalk experience), and there's still a slight limp to his walk, but that's more out of caution than anything else. He doesn't want to overdo it and have to use Kyouya as a pair of crutches again. He's also enjoying the sunlight, good weather, and access to his wardrobe; and is very seasonally-attired in deep russets and oranges. Not that he's trying to make up for the rather unimpressive figure he cut on his exit from the catacombs. No way.
Right now he's watching the scarecrows on the food stalls in fascination. It's not the fact that they're alive that fascinates him (...okay, well, there is that...) so much as how they've been put together. Poor Scarecrow-san! He could have been sewn together so much better than this!]
