Looking for supplies

[For one of the first times since he arrived Severus Snape is down at street level, wandering the roads and alleyways for supplies. In one hand he carries the list he had been given by Lezard. The wizard is anxious to start his work and find a way out of this god-awful place

Hi there! Looking for something?

[Severus stops short at the child's voice and takes a step back, staring down at him.]

Excuse me?

I said "Hi there! Looking for something?". I'm Phineas and...who're you?

I am Snape. I am looking for supplies for my work.

[He makes to walk past the strange looking boy.]

[He might just come across another wandering soul while searching. Gamzee is distracted, spacey, but much calmer than he'd been a good week prior.

He has his hands in his pockets, a little clockwork harlequin following at his feet.]

[Severus nearly stumbles into the odd looking creature]

Watch where you're going!

[mirthfulness]

[Gamzee blinks at him, seeming rather unbothered by the encounter. The harlequin climbs up his back to sit on his shoulder as he regards the man.]

...Yeah, sure. Sorry, bro.

[He scowls but his attention is grabbed by the little animal on the other's shoulder.]

What is that?

[Sora of course is out exploring. Well why not it is a new world to look into. He is running through the city and might be running into a grumpy wizard that he is too distracted to notice.]

[Severus stumbles to catch his himself as the stranger runs right into him.]

Doesn't ANYONE in this city look to see what is in front of them?

[Sora stumbles back. Once stabilized he frowns and rubs the back of his head nervously. It isn't long before the frown turns into a apologetic smile.]

Sorry about that. I wasn't looking where I was going.

Obviously. Seems a very common affliction in this city.

[Jeanne is wandering around, aimless for the most part. She has a basket of goods hanging from her arm but she seems to use those more as an excuse to be in public, rather than moving with the determination of a shopper. She notices how this newcomer can levitate things and she is strangely fascinated... and she ends up wandering over right into his path]

[Severus stops short to keep himself from smacking into yet another person.]

Is aimlessly walking around and not paying attention a requirement for anyone living in this city?

Ah, no sorry. I zink zat people are interested in how you levitate items out of your way.

[Well, her accent is different from what Severus is accustomed to hearing. Interesting.]

[[Here's a promising looking shop, the light is on, and inside is the sound of ticking and the smell of smoky tea. It might be a good idea to see what's available inside, or to simply take a break from wandering around.]]

[Severus notices the odd shop. He eyes it, suspiciously at first, but wanders over none the less and pokes his head in.]

[[Inside is filled with clocks, watches, and clockwork machines. A moving teapot paces around on the countertop, behind which sits a rather odd-looking person. She seems at first to be dressed in the clothing style of a Victorian gentleman, though she has a corset on over the top of her clothes and odd armour plates over her arms. She calls out, and her accent is that of upper class London.]]
