[Well that's a scream he recognizes, but at least the last time it was screaming his name. Oh well, you can't have everything.
Kou follows the helpless screaming and blubbering to find a rather large Pterodactyl attempting to make a meal out of Francis. He flexes his hand, metal claws glinting in what little light made its way though the trees.
He leaps higher than any human could ever manage, jumping off the trunks of trees to get even higher, and slashes though the creature's wings, digging his claws into it's back so he can ride it down to the ground. The landing doesn't kill the poor creature, so Kou climbs up it's back, reaching down to it's neck and slashing it with his claws. There, now it won't suffer a slow death.
[Because HE'S not so sure about that. But...buck up, Bonnefoy. He huffs and begins his descent, eventually making it to where Kou is. Also, it is easier to go down a tree then it is to scooch sidewaysin one.]
[Once Francis has made his way down, and settled on his back, he speaks.]

[Without further warning, his grip on the tree loosens, and he begins a rapid decent. When they are close enough to the ground he digs his claws in again, slowing the two of them down before they reach the ground.]

DOGS WERE NOT MEANT TO CLIMB TREES!

[He isn't really sure of what to do, his foot awkwardly trying to find purchase on the tree.]
