[It's late in the evening and Elliot is sitting at his desk in his room, working vigorously at something… There are papers cluttered everywhere around the desk and room, as well as many unorganized piles of various library books. The pocket watch communicator has been set aside on a corner of the desk, Elliot unaware that the feed is rolling.

He's fully concentrated on the work in front of him, scribbling away. He pauses for a moment to look over his work before suddenly frowning in frustration, crumbling up the paper and tossing it behind him. He sighs, exasperated, and leans back in his chair with an annoyed groan.]
